SEPTEMBER / OCTOBER 2017 7 Making lives better I believe strongly in the value of the Washington Athletic Club. Everything we like to do, done well, all in one place. Five floors of fitness facilities that offer premier workout envi- ronments plus more than 100 classes in over 30 styles per week, three restaurants that fit different moods and timelines, programs and communities that offer literally hundreds of opportunities to participate in unique experiences and meet fascinating people. As you may know, I was a WAC member long before I was granted the honor of stepping into my current role here. I continue to be fascinated by how impactful the WAC is to people's lives, in multiple and varied and significant ways. Some- times that is in a life-changing Wellness 360 program kind of way, and sometimes it's just in people having a great time in Torchy's or Hagerty's with friends new and old. Either way—and in so many ways in between—your Club can and will make your life better if you use it. A special thank you to Paul Ravetta, our now past Chairman of the Board. Paul's leadership and love of the WAC pushed the Club forward. And a hearty welcome to new Chairman Doug Seto, a lifetime Seattleite and longtime WAC member who brings a local and complete perspective to the position. Now close your eyes, open to a random page in this magazine, and stab your finger down onto the page. Sign up for whatever you land on. It will make your life better.
