Just an hour and a half from Napa wine
country sits our newest reciprocal club.
Located across the street from the Cali-
fornia state capitol grounds, the charm-
ing Sutter Club has been at the heart of
Sacramento for over a century.
Founded in part by some of the
original 49ers—the gold miners, not the
football team—the Sutter Club quickly
became a home away from home for visit-
ing lawmakers and government figures in
the late 1890s. Four decades later, the club
moved to its present home in a classic
early California mission-style building.
Today, the club's towering cathedral
windows continue to provide a cascade
of natural light that complements an ex-
ceptional dining experience in the Grill
Room, where you can enjoy breakfast,
lunch or dinner. e club's culinary team
uses locally sourced ingredients from
farms around the Sacramento Valley,
one of the most fertile farming areas in
the United States.
Whether you choose to spend multiple
days wandering historic Sacramento or
just a night while visiting nearby wine
