A veritable who's who of
Northwest football attend-
ed the 37th annual Morris
Trophy awards presentation
in the Crystal Ballroom. Hall
of Famer Walter Jones was
a highlight for many, but the
true stars of the day were
award winners Isaac Asiata
of Utah and Solomon Thomas
of Stanford. The two were
voted the best offensive and
defensive linemen, respec-
tively, during the 2016 Pac-12
season. The WAC is the proud
home of the Morris Trophy.
The Main Event

Members and guests en-
joyed two sold-out nights of
comedy, dinner, drinks, and
boxing at this black-tie event.
College boxers from around
the country put their skills to
the test in front of a packed
crowd inside the WAC gym,
complete with ring, lights,
and table seating. The event
is the highlight of the season
for many boxers, who love
the throwback feel and en-
thusiastic audience.
