The Emmy Award–winning chore- ographer known for his work on "So You Think You Can Dance" continues to electrify the dance world with innovative and explosive choreography and mash-ups of dance and musical genres. Audiences of all ages will experience the exhilarating collaboration of these visual musicians, whose performance gives shape and form to sound. u 5 pm; $77 March 30 & April 1 Mamma Mia! Paramount Theatre Mamma Mia! is the ultimate feel-good show that has audiences coming back again and again. Come see the show that has the whole world coming back for more. u Thursday, March 30; 7:30 pm; $65 Saturday, April 1; 2 pm; $73 April 5 Black Violin The Moore Theatre Since starting Black Violin a decade ago, musicians Wilner Baptiste and Kevin Marcus Sylvester have performed an average of 200 shows per year around the globe. Black Violin has collaborat- ed with the likes of P. Diddy, Kanye West, 50 Cent, Tom Petty, Aerosmith, Aretha Franklin, and The Eagles. According to The New York Times, "Black Violin works hard, but makes it all look like play. Sometimes they play with the intense seriousness of orchestral soloists; at others they fiddle as if at a hoedown; at still others they strum the violin and viola like guitars." u 7:30 pm; $32 April 12 Juan de Marcos and the Afro-Cuban All Stars The Moore Theatre The Afro-Cuban All Stars is a unique orchestra that promotes the complete story of Cuban music. At each performance, the orchestra celebrates Cuba's rich musical history. ACAS founder and director Juan de Marcos stretches his creative wings and fuses contemporary, traditional, and future styles of Cuban mu- sic. The ensemble captures the undeniable spirit of Afro-Cuban music with a potent mix of driving percussion, a powerhouse horn section, piano, bass, Cuban guitar, and incomparable vo- cals. The Afro-Cuban All Stars' electrifying performance marries the past with the present with the grandeur and grace of the world's greatest orchestras. u 7:30 pm; $43 April 14–May 6 The Secret Garden The 5th Avenue Theatre Based on the beloved children's novel, The Secret Garden tells the story of 10-year-old Mary Lennox. Recently orphaned, Mary is sent to England to live with her reclusive uncle, who is tormented by grief and dreams of his late wife. Alone in a crumbling mansion haunted by memories and loss, Mary seeks refuge in her late aunt's mysterious walled garden. After she meets her sickly cousin Colin, they discover the secrets of the garden together, ultimately bringing healing and happiness to the household. Broadway bound, the phenomenal cast includes Daisy Eagan, who debuted on Broadway 25 years ago as Mary, becoming the youngest recipient of the Tony Award for Best Actress. Eagan returns to the garden as the good-natured maid, Martha.
