This family-owned estate focuses on crafting the best in Cabernet Sauvignon, winning a spot on Wine Spectator's Top 100 List for the very first vintage it produced in 2007. Their winemaking skills have only gotten better with age. Start with a social glass before transi- tioning to three intentionally paired selections over dinner. Wine & Dine Washington: A Celebration of Women in Wine & Cuisine Friday, March 14; 5:30–9:30 pm Crystal Ballroom $195 March is Taste Washington Wine Month, and this year the WAC is honoring women winemakers who have transformed the in- dustry. Six women in wine, including Côte Bonneville winemaker Kerry Shiels, will bring their pairing expertise to this educational dinner that includes gourmet courses from four local female chefs. Long Shadows Winemaker Dinner Friday, April 18; 5:30 pm–9:30 pm Top of the WAC $115 The brainchild of the late Allen Shoup, a pioneer of Washington wine, Long Shadows produces Columbia Valley–grown wines with the help of a seasoned team from around the world. Built on Old World techniques adapted for the viticultural excellence of the Columbia Valley, Long Shadows wines are as distinct as the skilled winemakers and vineyards they come from. Taste four different wines and enjoy an intimate meal at this inspired dinner at the Top of the WAC. World of Wine Series Explore the vibrant world of wine with engaging expert-led classes. These monthly events expand your palate with innovative pairings, the introduction of global flavors, and practiced connoisseurship. Great for wine lovers and would-be sommeliers.
