THE WAC INSIDE & OUT
Designed by architect Sherwood Ford, the Washington
Athletic Club was Seattle's first Art Deco skyscraper and
stood as the third-tallest building downtown at its 1930
opening. Much has grown inside our Clubhouse in the
ensuing 95 years, but the exterior of our original building
retains the might of its historic design.
