Infrared sauna
You can't get to a sunny beach when-
ever you like, but you can replicate the
experience in the infrared sauna, located
in the 4th Floor Wellness Center and
Spa at the WAC. The sauna uses light
to create heat, offering the benefits of a
traditional sauna at lower temperatures.
Our sauna also includes optional
light and salt therapies, which can help
improve your mood and respiratory
system.

players Katy Wessels, Zoria Heard, and
Addy Benefield used the infrared sauna
last fall. The next day, the team beat
10th-ranked Oregon—just saying!
"It's the perfect antidote to our long
dark winters," Spa and Wellness Center
Manager Kelleen Blanchard says. "In-
frared warms the body the same way
sunlight does but without the harmful
UV. And it's proven to destress and help
with muscle and joint pain and improve
mood and sleep."
