She loves to greet her clients with a smile. "People's lives are stressful and busy, so many don't have a lot of time for themselves," Michelle says. "When clients come in stressed, tired, or even excited to work out and they walk out with more energy and a better frame of mind for the day, there's nothing better. I have the best job in the world. She believes that the mind is the key to unlocking one's potential and is as important as the body when it comes to fitness. "Working on positive thought patterns and internal dialogue helps create motivation and form habits, as well as decrease stress levels, which can be a huge roadblock for physical progress," she says. "Finding and strengthening one's mental fortitude is key to pushing past one's limits, as well as adequately challenging your mind and body without being restricted by fear or the perceived incompetence we all tend to deal with." As a kid, Darrick discovered his passion for fitness when he figured out that getting faster and stronger kept him in the game. Now he helps athletes do the same through sport-specific training. Darrick also helps clients suffering from postpartum depression, placing an emphasis on how mental health plays a crucial role. "Pregnancies impact mothers physically and emotionally, and it's oen a mental struggle to get back to pre-pregnant shape," he says. "It's important to safely bridge that gap." She specializes in clinical disease prevention and strength training, and she emphasizes the importance of mental health and having fun. Kodie likes to get to know her clients personally in order to cra a training program they truly enjoy. "I understand that exercising and working out don't come easy to a lot of people," she says. "Once you start moving and working out on a regular basis, your mood and overall quality of life improve. I'm here to make getting to that point more enjoyable." Mona works with a diverse clientele that includes adults with chronic disease, post-rehab patients, athletes looking for sport- specific training, and a wide variety of clinical populations. Mona believes anyone can attain a healthy lifestyle by prioritizing self-love, which she calls "an act of rebellion against a society that places undue priority on physical appearances rather than relationships and what's inside each of us." Mohammed obtained his bachelor's degree in physical education from the University of Baghdad and is an aspiring physical therapist assistant with seven years of personal training experience. Fueled by his desire to learn how to help people rehab their injuries, Mohammed believes building strength is the key to all other components of fitness and is committed to helping clients reach their fitness goals.
