Gregg Blodgett begins as 2020–2021 Chairman of the Board. Torchy's reopens for weekend brunch dates. Men's, Women's and Coed fitness reopen by reservation post-pandemic. Basketball, Pickleball, and group fitness classes return to the 8th Floor gym and in select 4th Floor studios with social distancing and reservation requirements in place. 8th Floor gym floor named in honor of late WAC member Roger Kelly. Donations to the Washington Athletic Club Foundation totaling $100,000 support the renaming. WAC President & CEO Chuck Nelson elected to the Club Leaders Forum Advisory Board, the leading association of private clubs in North America. Members enjoy an exclusive virtual event featuring a conversation between WAC President & CEO Chuck Nelson and Seattle Kraken execs. Washington state's four-week public health safety measures take effect, temporarily closing in-person fitness and dining operations. WAC members help raise over $2,000 for FareStart through Thanksgiving to go donations.
