Aer a year-plus closure, the WAC Café is set to reopen this fall. Yes, the food is delicious—healthy wraps, hearty salads, protein-packed shakes, hot soup, and more fuel your day—but it's the made- with-love service that has always made the café so special. ree fan favorites and longtime WAC team members—Bumper, Carlos, and Lani—will return to their proud places behind the counter. We recently caught up with the crew, who have a combined 50 years of experience putting smiles on WAC members' faces. "It's so good to be back together," Bumper says. "I can't wait to work alongside the team and see members again." Bumper, Carlos and Lani are old pros when it comes to cooking at the WAC Café. Carlos has saved 20 years' worth of uniforms and has his first- ever WAC paystub framed at home. "I missed the people and the Club a lot," he says. In addition to freshly made foods, the WAC Café curates a collection of sweet and savory snacks, pre-packaged meals, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages for members on the go. ere are even a few menu additions in the works, but you'll have to stop by to see what's new.
