I want to personally thank former Chairwoman Rose Mitchell (2019–2020) and Immediate Past Chairman Gregg Blodgett (2020–2021) for their immeasurable contributions in leading the Club during a very difficult period. Additionally, I cannot express enough gratitude for how President & CEO Chuck Nelson and recently retired CFO Paul Lowber, along with the rest of the executive team and our team members, navigated all of the starts, stops, and partial openings during the pandemic. It has been a long and windy road, but now a new journey begins! As we emerge from the shadow of COVID-19, we do so as a much different Club than before. We are entering a new era in WAC history. We have come through a difficult time, and we must be aware of the challenges ahead. Nevertheless, I am bullish on the spirit of the WAC, its membership, and our collective ability to rebuild our Club community to greater heights than ever before. My wife, Michelle, and I originally joined the Club nearly 20 years ago. We raised our kids with the WAC as part of their lives. e Club continues to be a central focus for our family because of the relationships we have built here. I am looking forward to forging new relationships and a renewed sense of purpose as we steer our Club into the future. See you soon … in person … at the WAC!
