Sun and surf in Hawaii
When you're ready to travel again, say aloha to this reciprocal club
e Outrigger Canoe Club is one of
the most cherished and visited clubs
in the WAC's extensive reciprocal club
network. If you have yet to visit this gem,
consider what you're missing.
is gorgeous Waikiki beachfront
oasis exudes "all the feels." You can
socially distance on the clear blue waters,
watch a game of volleyball on the beach,
or snooze through a book while the
wind in the palm trees nudges you into
blissful relaxation. When you tire of the
endless beachfront activities—as if that's
possible—head over to Diamond Head
for a hike that will reward you with
sweeping views of the Pacific.
All this activity will surely stir up an
appetite, and there's no better snack than
a scrumptious pupu platter and some
island-time beverages.
During the pandemic, Outrigger
has worked hard to ensure the safety of
its members, guests and staff. Outdoor
dining isn't a problem here, and ocean
views are plentiful.
As of press time, flights from the
mainland U.S. to Hawaii were operating.
Touchless temperature checks were
required to enter the Outrigger
Canoe Club.
To visit a club, members must request a letter
of introduction. Log on to wac.net/loi. Submit
