Washington Athletic Club - Dedicated 1930 - Mission To enrich the quality of life of our members Vision To be the premier city athletic club in America Values Leadership, Excellence, Integrity, Service, and Sensitivity A year of reinvigoration Well, it looks like we made it to 2021! With much consternation and struggle and difficulty, damnable 2020 has reached its conclusion and we can physically and mentally turn the page. We have spent much time and energy in fighting the daily battles of the past nine months. A new calendar gives us the perfect reason to optimistically look forward toward better days. e need to adapt and create and re-imagine how we live our lives—both work and personal—with an attitude of positivity and possibility has been so critical and will continue to be so. ank you to our amazing WAC team members and member leaders for their commitment to finding solutions for today, with the myriad uncertainties and unknowns of tomorrow. COVID restrictions have pushed us to invent dozens of new programs and offerings on new platforms to bring value to the loyal WAC membership and to find new ways to provide the familiar and important, such as the award-winning WAC Magazine. Going forward, our club will be better than ever as we integrate the newly created with the strengths the WAC has always possessed. We are humbled by the support of the WAC membership for this now 90-year-old institution. Our commitment and shared responsibility is not only to today's membership but also to the tens of thousands of members of the WAC since 1930 who launched and grew the Club into what we now enjoy and curate. For them and for the WAC members of today and tomorrow, we will be persistent, relentless, and determined that 2021 will be a year of not only recovery but also of reinvigoration! Best wishes, @cnhuskies13 Chuck Nelson President & CEO cnelson@wac.net
