Great for those with knee, hip, and other joint issues. u Wednesdays: 1:30–2:30 pm; Fridays: 10:45–11:45 am Cardio Express A 30-minute, low-impact water workout. u Mondays: 10:30–11 am Deep Water Aerobics This class offers a safe and challenging water-based workout that includes cardio conditioning and body toning in deep water. u Mondays: 11–11:45 am Fridays: 10–10:45 am Get Fit Water Aerobics A low-impact, fun, and invigorating workout that gets you in shape using the wa- ter's weight-bearing quality. u Tuesdays/Wednesdays/ Thursdays: 11–11:45 am Joints in Motion Ease joint and muscle pain with gentle range-of-motion, joint-mobility, and flexibility exercises. Great for those suffering from arthritis, muscle pain, stiffness or injury. u Wednesdays: 10:30–11 am Adult Aquatic Programs Learn to swim or improve your stroke with swim lessons in Helene Madison Pool. Minimum enrollment must be met in order to hold a class. Masters Swim Team Join coach Emily Silver for organized pool workouts dedicated to enhancing your endurance and improving your stroke technique. Beginner to advanced lap swimmers welcome to attend. Stretch yourself to try new drills, learn new technique, and improve your time. A 30-minute express class for swimmers looking to build endurance, strength and speed. Swimmers 18-plus. u Thursdays; 10:30–11 am; complimentary Tri/Cycle Swim Workouts A WAC Tri/Cycle Club pool workout. All lap swimmers welcome. u Tuesdays/Thursdays: 6–7 am; free Stroke Analysis Step up your stroke with un- derwater video. Thirty minutes and three different camera angles help us analyze your stroke in detail and give you feedback. Adult Swim Lessons Work on the basics of all four strokes and gain comfort in the water. Stroke refinement and endurance for more ad- vanced swimmers. Basketball Coach Donald Watts motivates with a progressive technique that combines the mental, physical and technical aspects of the game. Sign up to work on your game one-on-one, with a partner, or in a small group. Basketball (Women's Team) The team welcomes members with previous playing experience interested in regular practice and competitive games. Must be 21 or older. Handball Instruction The WAC Handball Club offers free instruction for beginner and intermediate players by appointment.
