Men and women each got their
own special set of certificates to be
redeemed at various departments.
For the gentlemen—a complimentary
cigar from the lobby-level smoke
shop, a haircut and shoeshine from
the barbershop, a sun
lamp session from
the conditioning department,
and other goodies.
e ladies received 20 percent
off cosmetics, perfume, jewelry,
and lingerie from the 7th Floor
Boutique, a cocktail in the Rio Room,
and a complimentary shampoo
and set in the Beauty Salon.
ese days, new members receive
a passport encouraging them to
explore the Club by using the Golf
