The Main Event
Friday & Saturday,
January 26 & 27
WAC members and their
guests enjoyed dinner, drinks,
comedy, and boxing at this
year's Main Event. For the
seventh year in a row, boxers
from around the nation faced
off in two nights of collegiate
competition in the 8th Floor
gym. This black-tie affair is
a highlight of the college
boxing season and one of
the only events of its kind

Morris Trophy Awards
Banquet
Thursday, January 18
Football fans from across
the region gathered in the
Crystal Ballroom to honor
this year's Morris Trophy
winners—Washington junior
defensive lineman Vita Vea
and Oregon senior offensive
lineman Tyrell Crosby. Given
annually to the best offensive
and defensive linemen in the
Pac-12, the Morris Trophy is in
its 38th year. As the home of
the trophy, the WAC annually
hosts the luncheon awards
ceremony, which attracts a
long list of local football stars,
none bigger than this year's
keynote speaker, Seahawks
legend and NFL Hall of Fame
member Walter Jones. J
