Calgary clubs deliver wild access and amazing amenities With three reciprocal clubs to choose from, WAC members visiting Calgary, Alberta, will have no trouble finding athletic facilities, dining options, and leisure fun. Located within a five-mile radius of each other, the clubs cater to busy families, diverse athletes, and everyone in between. Calgary Winter Club Just eight miles southwest of Calgary International Air- port, the Calgary Winter Club is a good first stop once you touch down. e club boasts a climbing center, ice skating and hockey surface, six indoor tennis courts, and three restaurants. It's also a great place to reminisce about Calgary's 1988 Winter Olympic Games—and possible future Olympics! e Glencoe Club is club offers dozens of athletic amenities, including six indoor tennis courts, an ice skating rink, eight curling sheets, a fitness center, two swimming pools, and a seasonal outdoor water slide. Ad- ditionally, e Glencoe Golf & Country Club, just 12 miles west of Calgary, features a 45-hole layout with the chal- lenges of a Scottish-style loop course.
