Irons Emmett Koehler Kathleen Quinn Dean Sagafi Amanda Torfi Lu Yang Abby Yawitz New energy, new studios, and a new year e WAC committees recently completed their first round of meetings for the 2025– 2026 fiscal year, and I could not be more energized by what I've seen. e genuine enthusiasm, insightful leadership, and sense of responsibility shown by our member leaders are inspiring. Fall is one of the most exciting and active times at the Club. We recently celebrated the opening of our new hot yoga and Reformer Pilates studios. Whether you're looking to explore mindful movement or add variety to your workouts, these new studios will provide wonderful opportunities. Equally exciting are the social events on the horizon—and those just past. e Gatsby Gala in mid-October was a big success. All funds raised benefit the Washington Athletic Club Foundation and its vital mission of preserving and enhancing our historic building. e event was elegant and impactful. Many thanks to everyone who attended and donated! In just a few weeks, on December 5, members and guests will come together for a milestone celebration—Jubilee 95! is annual event honors our Club's rich history. However you spend time at the Club, invite guests to join you. Friends & Family is on now! It's the best time of the year to sponsor new members. On a personal note, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Maria Finlayson, our immediate past Chairman of the Board of Governors. Maria's leadership, wisdom, and tireless dedication to the WAC have been an inspiration to me and to so many of us. As we enter this new season, I encourage each of you to take full advantage of the many opportu- nities the WAC has to offer. I look forward to seeing you around the Club!
