A champagne welcome, larger-than-life decor, delicious food, luxury vacation prizes, casino gambling, and ethereal entertainment fill Jubilee night with thrills that will last well into the wee hours. "We've gone to fairyland and beyond in planning this party," Director of Club Events Mary Ellen Jilek says. "Expect a theme that's bewitching and fascinat- ing at every turn." Revelers can delight in Jubilee 95 wonderment, from dreamy dance floors where you can groove all night to a secret garden photo booth flowering inside the walls of Torchy's Den. Food and drink will be in full abundance throughout the Club, and some wizardry will even be waiting, with psychics ready to divine your fate. "It's an electric, celebratory atmosphere," member Carson Canonie says. She attended her very first Jubilee last year. "It's magical," she says. "The WAC becomes another world. Every room is a different party." That's just what Mary Ellen strives for when curating this 800-person gathering, a task nearly a year in the making. "I'm already thinking about next year," Mary Ellen winks. Jubilee has been part of the WAC's holiday season since the Clubhouse opened in 1930. "It's the city's best party," WAC President & CEO Suzana Sakay says. No matter how you enjoy the evening, revel in the energy of this epic party and remember … dreams do come true.
