THE 1930

Bright, bracing, and expertly balanced, "The 1930"
pays tribute to the grand opening of the Washington
Athletic Club 95 years ago. Back then, resilience,
refinement, and resolution powered members to
create a Club unlike any Seattle had ever seen.
Just as the WAC emerged as a beacon of vitality
and sophistication during the depths of the Great
Depression, this cocktail evokes the spirit of rebirth
with every sip. Say cheers to the Club's history and
future when you taste this aromatic potion. Better
yet, raise a glass with friends and fellow members
while enjoying in Hagerty's or Torchy's.
RECIPE
• 1½ oz. Tanqueray
• 1½ oz. Lillet Blanc
• 1½ oz. Cointreau
• ½ oz. lemon juice
• Spritz of Pernod
• Orange wedge
Spritz a martini glass with Pernod. Add other
ingredients to a shaker filled with ice. Shake
vigorously and strain into glass. Garnish with an
orange wedge. Enjoy!
