first take first take gatsby gala
THE WAC FOUNDATION exists to preserve and enhance the
WAC Clubhouse. Since its inception, the Foundation has facilitated
important improvements to our building, listed on the National
Register of Historic Places. Significant projects include a thorough
cleaning of the building's exterior; the construction of "1930,"
our lobby-level café; an art and decor refresh of the historic Voogd
Library; and the opening of hot yoga and Reformer Pilates studios.
The funds raised during the Gatsby Gala will support renovations to
Helene Madison Pool, one of the Club's original spaces. Work will
take place this December. Donations to the WAC Foundation may
be made at wac.net/foundation.
