Swing Back to the '30s: Big Band Swing Night FEBRUARY 27 The WAC was founded in 1930, right at the height of the swing era. Step into a night of Lindy Hop, Charleston, and East Coast Swing as a deejay sets the tempo. Vintage cocktail attire is encouraged, Prohibition Era–inspired cocktails will flow, and a professional swing dance couple will perform and guide a mini- lesson to get everyone on their feet. Golden Nights: Mid- Century Ballroom Soirée APRIL 24 Glide into the glamour of the post-WWII years when ballroom dance and social clubs were at their peak. This elegant soirée captures the sophistication of the 1940s and '50s, complete with live music, dazzling attire, and a nod to the WAC's role as a hub for connection and celebration.
