Saturday; 1–7 pm; $90. Back of the WAC Tour JANUARY 12 Ever wonder about the hidden history of the WAC? Join veteran Engineer Bill Rawe and Building Operations Assistant Manager Caitlin Pennington for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the Club's unique spaces, from original parking garage to a former bowling alley. Don't miss this highly sought- after experience! Enjoy light appetizers and a hosted beverage as you uncover untold Clubhouse stories. Monday; 5:30–7 pm; $35 members, $42 guests. Exclusive Tour of Fred Hutch JANUARY 15 Join us for a unique and inspiring experience—an exclusive tour of the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center. WAC Walk: Art, Architecture & History NOVEMBER 17, JANUARY 12 & MARCH 16 Step into history with The WAC Walk: Art, Architecture & History—a guided tour exploring the iconic design and legacy of the Washington Athletic Club. From its 1930 Art Deco roots and original grand staircase to hidden gems like the 1954 expansion line and striking abstract lobby artworks, you'll uncover the stories etched into every corner of the Club. Get to know your Club better and celebrate 95 years of excellence, culture, and community. Mondays. Scuba at the WAC FEBRUARY 20 Once upon a time, the WAC made waves by offering scuba certification in Helene Madison Pool. Now, in partnership with Underwater Sports Seattle, we're bringing that tradition back for a special one-time scuba experience. Step Back in Time: WAC Dance Series We're bringing back the magic of some of our favorite eras with an unforgettable dance series. Swing Back to the '30s: Big Band Swing Night FEBRUARY 27 The WAC was founded in 1930, right at the height of the swing era. Step into a night of Lindy Hop, Charleston, and East Coast Swing as a deejay sets the tempo. Vintage cocktail attire is encouraged, Prohibition Era–inspired cocktails will flow, and a professional swing dance couple will perform and guide a mini- lesson to get everyone on their feet. Golden Nights: Mid- Century Ballroom Soirée APRIL 24 Glide into the glamour of the post-WWII years when ballroom dance and social clubs were at their peak. This elegant soirée captures the sophistication of the 1940s and '50s, complete with live music, dazzling attire, and a nod to the WAC's role as a hub for connection and celebration. WAC HERITAGE COLLECTION The WAC Heritage Collection celebrates the legacy of the Washington Athletic Club through a series of thoughtfully curated events honoring our 95th anniversary. These events connect members across generations and highlight the vibrant history that defines who we are today.
