It's wonderful to see more and more members returning to the WAC. e energy is contagious! By the time you receive this magazine, the new lobby-level coffee shop and drop-in workspace will almost be open. Aer a member contest that saw more than 100 name ideas, we're calling the Club's newest room "1930" in honor of the WAC's founding year. I can't wait to connect with fellow members in this new, modern space. My WAC routine has changed over the past few years. No doubt yours has, too. As you return downtown—either to the office or for the incredible cultural offerings of the city—please think about how the WAC can enhance your day. Whether you come in to find a quiet place to work or your favorite place to work out, dine, or socialize, the Club is here for you. As the holidays approach, there is no shortage of things to do at the WAC: Jubilee 92, the New Year's Eve Party, Shoppers Teas, GingerMania, and more. See the Club Programs listings on pages 42–48 for a calendar of events and keep up with the latest additions at wac.net/events. Our member experience also expands beyond the walls of the Clubhouse. One of the amazing benefits of being a WAC mem- ber is the reciprocal club program. Recently, I visited the esteemed New York Athletic Club, located across the street from Central Park. e hospitality and food were top-notch. e views of Central Park from the hotel and rooop bar are spectacular. I had an all-around exceptional stay. If you have an opportunity to travel, consider visiting a reciprocal club. ank you for your engagement in our Club and for your feedback. I've enjoyed hearing from many of you about the things that make the WAC special for you, and I look forward to seeing you at the Club! With much gratitude, Jennifer Porto Chairman of the Board of Governors jporto@wac.net
