Scheduled for Saturday, June 12, in the Crystal Ballroom, the ceremony and dinner are being planned as an in-person event but could shi depending on COVID-19 guidance. e banquet recognizes the nation's best two players—one from women's rugby and one from men's. Division I players across the country vote on three finalists from a group of nominees. Final selection of the two honorees is made by a panel of college coaches and rugby community members. e winners will be announced in May. Past winners have gone on to play for the U.S. national team and have represented the sport at the highest level.
