If that is the case, we are all much closer to perfection than we were a few months ago. e COVID-19 pandemic brought evolutions and pivots and changes to nearly every aspect of our lives. Over the past few months, the rhythms and patterns of each day have been revised and transitioned to the new realities, as we each construct new models of what a normal day looks like. In this issue of WAC Magazine—our first since March/April—we highlight past, present and future. We take our annual journey through the past fiscal year at the WAC, providing a view of seven-and-a-half months in traditional WAC mode … and then four-and-a-half months of the nimble and inventive shi to WAC virtual experiences and the phased reopening of services and offerings in different areas of the Clubhouse. Turn the pages to also see the wonderful things coming up and available—both in-person and virtually—as we continue to evolve and pivot through the COVID-19 pandemic. And forward we go! Congratulations and welcome to Gregg Blodgett, the Club's new Chairman of the Board. ank you to all our member leaders, WAC team, and, most importantly, the supportive and committed WAC membership. Together we can simultaneously caretake our strong history and create the Washington Athletic Club's next phase. @cnhuskies13 Chuck Nelson President & CEO cnelson@wac.net A note on photography: Some of the photos in this magazine were taken prior to COVID-19.
