Charles' warm personality and dedication to service always provide a good first impression. "Charles does it all," says Amanda Widdice, Senior Manager, Hotel Revenue and Guest Experience Operations. "He tracks down lost items, person- ally assists those who need it, lends a hand with Catering deliveries, and covers bellman shifts." Charles' work ethic and friendly demeanor have made an impression on count- less visitors to the Club. "He has an infectious energy that radiates to everyone he inter- acts with," says Security Manager and Human Resources Generalist Laurie Sorensen. HIROE SHAFFER WEEWACS TEACHER Originally from Japan, WeeWACs Teacher Hiroe Shaffer began working at the Club in 2012. Firm but nurturing, Hiroe has an unparalleled work ethic and often goes above and beyond what is required. "She displays an inner drive for excellence and makes the children feel secure and welcomed," Childcare Manager Shawn Bonney says. Her virtues and values help WeeWACs succeed every day. An exemplary leader, Hiroe is known for her integrity, quiet command, and consummate professionalism. DHAN RAI HOUSEKEEPER Dhan Rai first started working at the WAC in 2013. After taking a break to grow her family, Dhan returned to the Club in 2017 as the Inn at the WAC's 12th and 14th floors room attendant. Executive Housekeeper Maria Arreygue-Rodriguez describes Dhan as "a hardworking and dedicated individual who takes her job very seriously." In addition to her usual duties, Dhan also trains newcomers to the team, passing on her knowl- edge and high standards. "We know we have a stronger and better team thanks to Dhan's training," Housekeeping Supervisor Kelsie Powell says. ZACH POWELL MAIL & DELIVERY CLERK, LOST & FOUND Zach Powell has made a positive impact at the Club since his first day on the job in 2018. Professional, focused, level-headed, and eager for new opportunities, Zach has grown in his position with a supportive and determined attitude. "Zach is a fabulous employee and a tremendous asset to our department," Purchasing Manager Tony Sundberg says. Zach also recently took on a new role in Lost & Found. "He didn't blink twice and has excelled at his new duties," Security Manager & Human Resources Generalist Laurie Sorensen says.
