Un- less, of course, you're lucky enough to run into them around the WAC Clubhouse. The Inn at the WAC has served as the Seattle home of Blue Angels pilots, crew, and families since 2000. Look for the U.S. Navy flight demonstration squadron around the Clubhouse July 28–August 6. Also watch for them at the Boeing Seafair Air Show on Friday–Sunday, August 2–4, over Lake Washington. SEAFAIR TRIATHLON The WAC is once again the official athletic club of the Seafair Triathlon. Taking place on the shores—and in the waters—of Lake Washington on Sunday, July 21, the Sea- fair Triathlon offers sprint and super-sprint distance races for adults, and long and short courses for children. You can also choose to participate as a team. Need some last-minute training? The WAC Tri/ Cycle Club's coaches host swimming, biking, and running workouts throughout summer. To celebrate, the 10-week festival will feature more than 40 events. This classic season-long celebration encapsulates much of what's special about summer in Seattle—including outdoor festivals, boat races, downtown parades, and so much more. For most Seattleites, summer—and, by extension, Seafair—centers on spending time outside. As in years past, the WAC is a proud Seafair partner and a supporter of a few very important Seafair events.
