If you're a regular yoga practitioner, you might know him as the author of Ashtanga Yoga: e Practice Manual. If you don't practice yoga, then there's no better time to start. Swenson will visit the WAC on March 29–31 and offer three days of incredible yoga. Clinics for yogis of all skill levels (including level zero) will be offered with this legend in his field. Swenson began practicing yoga in 1967 at the age of 13 and was introduced to Ashtanga six years later. By 1977, he was off to India and eventually became one of a small group of people to learn the full Ashtanga system as taught by K. Pattabhi Jois. Today, Swenson is widely recognized as one of the world's leading Ashtanga yoga practitioners and instructors. Despite his mind-blowing ability to bend into an array of poses—some of which seem to defy gravity let alone human bone struc- ture—he remains a patient and humble teacher respected for his ability to work with students of all levels. Sign-ups for Swenson's weekend-long series were open to WAC members only through mid-February. e member pricing remains unchanged: Friday– Sunday, $300; Saturday–Sunday: $250; individual sessions at $55 each. Nonmembers may also sign up now. Nonmember pricing applies. Living Fit Practice with a master Experience a weekend with yoga expert David Swenson at the WAC wac.net/yoga-workshop
