Sweet beginnings
Spring brings a wonderful opportunity to enjoy
French toast, a traditional Easter staple with
limitless variations. At the WAC, we dip soft sweet
challah in an aromatic batter of milk, eggs, brown
sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg and then cook on
a piping-hot griddle to form crispy edges and a
custardy center. Topped with a kiss of maple syrup,
a dusting of powdered sugar, and sweet berries,
