His latest book, Farm Food Volume 1; Fall and Winter, features recipes and stories about farm life on Vashon Island. Kurt owns Kurt's Farm House on Capitol Hill, featuring ice cream and cheese made from farm-fresh ingredients straight from the Vashon fields. He has been featured on Martha Stewart, and Seattle Met magazine put his latest book on its list of "8 Pacific Northwest Cook- books to Seek Out."
