The Nutcracker receives a bawdy makeover for this evening of adult winter magic with playful banter, dazzling costumes, and impressive technical dancing with a sensual twist. Optional pre-show social with hosted hors d'oeuvres and no-host beverages in Torchy's. Show at The Triple Door. Full menu and bar service available. Ages 17-plus. u Wednesday; 6–9 pm; $70 social and show; $55 show only 14 & 21 Holiday Shoppers Teas Celebrate the season at one of the WAC's longest-running traditions! Enjoy sweet and savory treats and a perfectly brewed spot of tea on this special holiday afternoon. Adult members are invited to attend one of two teas and may bring one guest for this complimentary gathering. Our annual Victorian Christmas buffet includes prime rib, Hempler's ham, cit- rus-glazed turkey, wild mushroom gravy, buttermilk-and-chive mashed potatoes, and much more. Your family will love the delicious offerings and festive decor. 09 Children's Holiday Show: Le Petit Nutcracker Join Haven Dance Academy for an enchanting rendition of Le Petit Nutcracker, presented in the Crystal Ballroom. Share in the holiday joy as we go on an exciting adventure through Clara's extraordinary dream world, where the Nutcracker fends off the Mouse King, and sugarplum fairies and larger-than-life toys dance to holi- day classics. This beloved performance is 45 minutes—perfect for young children. Reservations required. u Saturday; 11 am & 1 pm; complimentary 10 Children's Holiday Show: Holiday Magic Show Get in the spirit with Louie Foxx and his One-Man Side Show, featuring comedy, magic and juggling in the Noble Room. Louie holds two Guin- ness World Records, has appeared on America's Got Talent, and will leave you and your kids in disbelief. Gasp as Louie wraps his head in duct tape, cuts a banana in half with a bullwhip, and balances a giant spoon on his nose (actual tricks may change, of course!). Whatever the case, your family is sure to love Louie. Reservations required. u Sunday; 11 am; complimentary 09–10 Photos with Santa Santa is stopping by the Johnson Lobby Lounge to visit the kids of the Club. Enjoy a magical day with St. Nick. Write him a letter, color a pic- ture, and have your photo taken with the jolliest man around. Reservations are a must. Our hardworking elves cannot accommodate walk-ins, so make sure you reserve with Club Pro- grams. Plan your pictures to coincide with one of our Children's Holiday Shows and the Candy Cane Brunch. u Saturday; 9 am–3 pm; Sunday; 10 am–2 pm 09–10 Candy Cane Brunch Sit down to a delicious brunch during your day at the Club. Enjoy favorites, including waffles, specialty eggs, and house-made hash browns, or order from our seasonal a la carte menu. Relax with an eggnog or hot cider and reminisce about holidays past.
