C. Wolfe
Noted war correspondent Henry C.
Wolfe spoke at the WAC in April 1944.
A guest in the Club's evening lecture
series, Wolfe gave his analysis on World
War II in a talk titled "Next Act in
Europe." In a 1939 Harper's Magazine
article, Wolfe accurately predicted the
Nazi-Soviet alliance three months before
the pact was formed. Wolfe's autograph
at the WAC was collected
by longtime employee Ed Moore.

will join the annual Morris Trophy
luncheon on ursday, January 18, in
the Crystal Ballroom, and you're invited.
e annual awards ceremony honors the
conference's best single offensive and
defensive linemen and attracts many for-
mer collegiate and professional players
from around the Northwest. is year's
guest speaker will be Seahawks legend
and NFL Hall of Fame member Walter
Jones. e Washington Athletic Club is
the home of the Morris Trophy.
