Water Aerobics Water aerobics is a proven low-impact, fat-burning workout. The water creates resistance, which increases strength and heart rate. The buoyancy reduces impact and stress to joints. Tuesday/Thursday: 6:45–7:45 am 6th Floor Pool Zumba The joy of movement inspired by Latin rhythms, hip-hop and funk keeps you moving through the hour. Monday: 5:30–6:30 pm Thursday: 11:30 am–12:30 pm Friday: 5:30–6:30 pm YOGA Hatha Yoga Improve your strength, flexibility and balance. Monday/Wednesday/Friday: 5:15–6:15 am, 4–5 pm Tuesday/Thursday: 7:05–8:05 am, 12–1 pm Saturday: 10:30–11:45 am Sunday: 10:15–11:30 am Power Yoga A more vigorous movement-based yoga class. Tuesday/Thursday: 6–7 pm Restorative Yoga Supplement your regular yoga practice with this gentler and slower paced style of yoga. Props assist therapeutic poses. Saturday: 8:30 am SloBody Yoga A practical, no-nonsense yoga style designed to balance, strengthen, lengthen and open the body. Monday/Wednesday/Friday: 6:30–7:45 am, 9–10:30 am GET FIT CLASSES Get Fit classes are designed for adults seeking a more gentle or entry level workout. Seniors ages 60+ may receive the following special pricing for any of the Get Fit classes: $3/class or $25/month for unlimited classes. These classes are free with Fitness Advantage. Get Fit Stretch and strengthen your body. Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday: 10–10:45 am Get Fit Core Join us for a great workout designed for strengthening the postural muscles. Monday: 10–10:45 am Get Fit Step This is a low-intensity step class with easy-to-follow choreography. Fun music, and a motivational and entertaining instructor will help you shape up and have some fun at an easy pace. Friday: 10–10:45 am Get Fit Water Exercise A low-impact, fun and invigorating workout. Make new friends and stay in shape using the water's non-weight-bearing quality. Monday–Friday: 11–11:45 am Get Fit Yoga A gentle yoga class with emphasis on lengthening muscles, breathing and relaxation. Tuesday/Thursday: 8:40–10 am GROUP TRAINING Group strength and conditioning workouts are held in Functional Training Room A (FTR-A) on the 8th Floor. There is a limit of 10 people per class. Workouts include advanced bootcamp, beginning kettlebell, TRX/kettlebell combo, women-only and much more. Please check wac.net for the latest schedule of classes and fees.
