Now 26, she holds fond memories of coming downtown with her family, attending the annual Father Daughter Banquet, and spending time at the Club. "It's always been a part of my life," Nina says. Nina moved back to Seattle after college in 2010 and started looking for a way to reconnect with the community and meet new friends. That's when she decided to join the WAC as a young adult. Nina works nearby, in the digital advertising department of Seattle Met magazine. She visits the Club frequently for after- hours workouts and social get-togethers at Torchy's and Hagerty's. "Being a member has led me to a more active lifestyle," Nina says. "I've met so many great friends here, and we all use the Club as a rendezvous point." She says the WAC has become a bigger part of her life than she expected. She also recently enjoyed a reciprocal club visit to The University Club of Washington D.C. while visiting college friends from The George Washington University. In March of 2012, Nina met Matthew Ennis. She had a feeling Matthew would like the Club and took him on a tour. "There are so many aspects of the WAC I find valuable," Nina says. "I love the atmosphere, and the staff members are so nice. I knew Matthew would fit right in." { NINA FELDMAN } Member since 2012 16 | Washington Athletic Club Magazine | JUNE / JULY 2014
