26 WAC Magazine | wac.net WAC ARTIFACT Postcards—minute missives from the past ey may seem long-forgotten in the era of social media and selfies, but postcards still provide a perfect place to pen a punctual note to loved ones. ese greet- ing cards, once sold at the WAC, not only show the evolution of the Clubhouse but also reflect a simpler time. Consider this note from 1953 found on a card in the WAC archive: "Have had a busy time here—leave today for San Francisco. It's been fun." Such memories leave much to the imagination and ask nothing in return. No likes. No comments. Perfect! is summer, share your own short sen- timent when you pen a postcard from the WAC Club Shop or "1930," each with a historic image from the WAC.
