Works from renowned Renaissance artists such as Titian, El Greco, and Raphael join Baroque masters Gentileschi, Bernardo Cavallino, and others in a show that reveals the love, devotion, physical labor, and tragic suffering expressed by the human body. Focusing on themes of Christian martyrdom and mythical passion, this exhibit showcases the fierce and intense beauty of 16th- and 17th-century Italian art. Private one-hour docent tour preceded by optional no-host lunch in TASTE. After the tour, the entire museum is yours to explore.
