Caught between slowing down to savor every moment and feeling like time is moving faster than normal as you look ahead to another week of celebrations. It's an inside joke in my circle of friends that you can't say no to a get-together or a nightcap when it's the holidays. e memories we create are what make the season. Santa photos, gingerbread houses, enjoying the lights while shopping downtown, driving down Candy Cane Lane, gi exchanges … there are seemingly limitless opportunities to smile and be thankful. Last year, Michelle and I cheated a bit while entertaining our parents for the holidays. We ordered our prime rib from the WAC. Our family loved it, we saved some time in the kitchen, and the only guilt I felt was in going back for another piece. Take my advice, it's worth it!
