Wishing you a wonderful season
I hope this letter finds you well and enjoying what promises to be a beautiful summer.
As the days get brighter, warmer and longer, it seems appropriate to highlight summer
athletic and social options available to WAC members.
Start by looking at the online schedules page at wac.net/schedules or peruse the
listings pages at the back of this magazine. ere are summer camps for our youngest
WAC members, theater tickets for performances at e 5th Avenue and other venues, and, for the more adventurous
type, a jet boat tour of Deception Pass. ese are but a few of the many fantastic activities available to WAC members
and their guests.
As you plan your summer activities, I want to remind you that Torchy's and Hagerty's are great places to meet friends
and family before or aer your Club or downtown activities. Plus, Executive Chef Eric Floyd's delicious seafood specials
continue through July!
Finally, this is my last letter as Chairman of the WAC Board of Governors. It has been a distinct honor and privilege
to serve in this capacity for such a storied organization. I would like to thank the WAC leadership and my fellow mem-
bers who have made the past year so memorable and rewarding. I look forward to passing the torch to Doug Seto, who
will serve as Chairman for the 2017–2018 fiscal year. Learn much more about Doug in the September/October issue of
