"We would go to the pool and have lunch together," Joan recalls. Her memories of those childhood aernoons inspired Joan to join the Club in 2009. Since then, she has used the WAC to stay in shape for skiing and tennis. A litigator, Joan also uses the Club for business and socializing, meeting clients and friends alike in Torchy's or Hagerty's. It's the variety of great amenities that helps Joan bring in new members and also keeps her coming back. "Having access to a gym, a spa, and a good sports bar all under one roof is my favorite part of the WAC," she says. Miles Craigwell Miles Craigwell first learned about the WAC when Chris Prentice, his boss and CEO at USI Kibble & Prentice, invited him to the Clubhouse as a guest. Almost five years later, Miles is at the Club almost every day. Whether he's stopping by the Club Shop for coffee, working out on the 5th Floor, or having an aer-work pint at Hagerty's, Miles takes full advantage of everything the WAC offers. In addition to dining and exercis- ing, he uses the Club to build personal relationships with em- ployees and clients. For Miles, the opportunity to meet other members and to be part of the WAC community is the biggest perk of belonging to the Club. "ere's so much I love about the WAC," he says.
