This two hour course will help you navigate many of the important fundamentals---how to write a college essay, what colleges are looking for, what's the best college for you, how to fund college, and much more. Mary Galbraith has been a College Counselor for 38 years, most recently at a college prep school in Switzerland. She has visited over 250 universities both nationally and inter- nationally in Canada, Europe and the UK. Galbraith has also been a presenter at con- ferences for counseling professionals both state side and abroad that include topics geared for all aspects of the profession. Her broad knowledge and perspective is an asset to any student with questions about their future. Also presenting is David Aramaki, financial adviser at Ameriprise Financial. One of Aramaki's specialties is college admission counseling and financial aid. His experience guiding parents and students through college financing is a per- fect place to start. Aramaki is also a mem- ber of the Pacific Northwest Association for College Admissions Counseling and visits over 20 high schools each year to explain financial aid and educational tax breaks, like the 529 Plan. Galbraith and Aramaki will be on hand after their presen- tations to answer questions. This is a great program for parents and students from freshman up. NEW The Addams Family at the 5th Avenue October 24–November 11 Just in time for Halloween comes this Broadway hit that brings the darkly delirious world of Gomez, Morticia, Uncle Fester, Grandma, Wednesday, Pugsley and, of course, Lurch to spooky and spectacular life. Based on characters created by cartoonist Charles Addams, the authors of Jersey Boys have created a magnificently macabre new musical comedy that brings them all to devilishly delightful life. Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has taken up with a "normal" boyfriend. For parents Gomez and Morticia, this shocking development turns the Addams house upside down when they are forced to host a dinner for the young man and his parents.
