Enjoy lush greens, fairways that overlook lakes and streams, and hazards that provide a challenge for any golfer. Towering evergreens open up to stunning views of Hood Canal, Puget Sound, and the Olympic and Cascade mountains. You'll enjoy the spectacular natural surroundings where deer roam, eagles fly, and wildflowers explode with color. Nestled on high ground between the Olympic and Cascade mountains, White Horse offers peaceful surroundings and frequent sightings of wildlife that call the course home. Renowned golf course architect John Harbottle helped design the course. The course's wide fairways please many golfers while subtle greens and strategic bunkers keep play interesting. White Horse maintains a full-service golf club that includes an all-grass practice facility with three putting greens and a chipping area. Laid out by Robert Muir Graves, Meadow Springs is one of Washington's top-rated courses. Designed for enjoyment by all skill levels, the course offers five sets of tees. It plays more than 6,900 yards from the championship tees and 6,100 from the seniors'. WAC members will find enjoyment and challenge during a day on this scenic course. Facilities include driving range, chipping green, and putting green. Located upstream from beautiful Carmel, California, Quail Lodge & Golf Club is known for its playability, pristine conditions, beautifully manicured greens, and pet-friendly atmosphere. Another Robert Muir Graves course, it is situated on the scenic Carmel River, about 90 minutes south of San Jose. The 6,500-yard par-71 is perfect for the walking golfer. Designed by William Bell and known as the "Grand Dame" of Hawaii golf courses, the challenging Oahu Country Club course is famous for its tumbling fairways, lightning-quick greens, and majestic flora and fauna. The 5,820-yard par-71 course is a shot-maker's paradise that demands careful club selection and smart execution. 2015 GOLF GUIDE JONATHAN SCHMIDT Contact Athletic Programs Manager Darin Barr at dbarr@wac.net for more information about the WAC Golf Club.
