{ PAUL FLEMING } Member since October 2013 A few years ago, Brian and Jennifer Arnold's kids, Andrew and Alden, met Frances Fleming, now 5, at Pacific First Montessori, a childcare program near the WAC. The children hit it off, which led to the families getting together for play dates. Today, Paul and Elizabeth Fleming—parents of Frances and 2-year-old Charlotte— and the Arnolds vacation together regularly. Paul moved to Seattle in 1992, and Elizabeth grew up here. "I love that Seattle is a dynamic, vibrant city with abundant access to nature," Paul explains. Last year, Paul and Elizabeth began looking for a place where they could work out and enjoy family fitness and activities year-round. When Brian heard about Paul's interest in the WAC, he gladly sponsored him. The Flemings have been coming to the Club ever since. Paul says it has been a great place to try to get back into his exercise routine now that their youngest daughter is a toddler. "I try to work out about twice a week, either on my own or for a training session with Will Whatley," he says. "And our daughters love the pool." Paul and Elizabeth also enjoy occasional date nights at the Club. Paul, who works on climate change risk management, also used the WAC's reciprocal club network on a recent trip to Washington, D.C. He says he and Elizabeth look forward to doing that more, as well as taking greater advantage of family events.
