First Saturdays (monthly) : 5:30–6:30 pm MARTIAL ARTS/GYMNASTICS Family Judo Fun e martial art of judo is a special form of wrestling that emphasizes throws and grappling. Traditions, discipline, respect and mental training are a few of its bene- fits. Channel that excess energy into a great skill. Adults $8 per class, $6 with enrolled child or free with Fitness Advantage. 4th Floor Studio B CAMPS WAC Junior Summer Camps ree one-week junior camps are being offered this summer for kids ages 8-12. e specially designed programs will utilize WAC athletics facilities and nearby Seattle attractions. Each session will consist Level 3: Able to swim width of pool on front and back independently; comfortable with face in the water. Saturdays: 8:30 am, 9:05 am, 9:40 am (30 min) Level 4: Able to swim two widths each of front and back crawl; kneeling dive; tread water. Saturdays: 8:30 am, 10:30 am (40 min) Level 5: Able to swim one length each of front and back crawl in good form; tread water for two minutes; standing dive; deep water bobbing; scissor kick; whip kick. Saturdays: 9:10 am, 10:30 am (40 min) Level 6/7: Able to swim two lengths each of front and back crawl; one length each of sidestroke and breaststroke; one length of dolphin kick; open turns on front and back. Saturdays: 9:50 am (40 min) Foundations Approaching Swim Team (FAST)/Level 7: is class focuses on building endurance, refining the four primary strokes and introducing starts and turns. Saturdays: 11:10 am (50 min) Private Swim Lessons (All ages) Private swim lessons are available to members of all ages and swimming abilities. Call the pool to request a private lesson, and we will match you with the best available instructor for your needs. Learn basic karate punches, strikes, blocks and kicks from Tom Tanaka, the WAC's karate instructor.
