FROM THE WAC'S
GRAND OPENING
in 1930, the
sport of swimming has been intimately
connected to the Club's character. From
the moment it opened, the short-course
pool on the Clubhouse's 6th Floor
wowed with its stylish architecture
and daring design. It immediately
became a birthplace of champions.
Fast forward 84 years, and swimming—
in Helene Madison Pool and in Seattle's
surrounding waters—is as much a part
of the WAC's legacy as ever before.
