Newcastle (Coal Creek Course), No. 1
Three decent shots put you on the green of this long downhill par 5.
But first you have to tear your eyes away from a gorgeous view of the
Seattle skyline, 10 miles distant on the other side of Lake Washington.
Harbour Pointe,
No. 11
You have a clear shot to Victoria,
B.C., from the fairway of this
par 4, which looks across
Puget Sound toward the
Olympic Peninsula and includes
a view of the southern tip
of Whidbey Island. It's
probably best to aim
for the pin instead.
Trophy Lake is the site of the WAC's
annual club championship tournament.
WashingtonStateLinks.com lists 278 golf
courses in the state. A four-hour round at
each would add up to 46 days of golfing.
