10 WAC Magazine | wac.net VIEWING PARTIES AT THE WAC Private Parties The WAC Catering team is ready for all your private viewing parties at the WAC, and this summer's FIFA World Cup is sure to be a hit! Parties can take place in any of our banquet spaces, including the 8th Floor Simulator and Crystal Ballroom, and can host 15–300 people. Pricing begins at $75 per person and includes: • Match broadcast on big-screen televisions • Appetizers and a round of hosted beverages • Soccer decor and photo opportunities Viewing parties are completely customizable. All matches in Noble Room The Noble Room on the lobby level will air all World Cup matches with a snack bar and drink service. Special buffets are being planned for matches at Lumen Field and other key games of the tournament. Details to be announced in the coming months on the WAC app. first take fifa world cup We're kicking off plans for the ultimate soccer viewing experience this summer when the 2026 FIFA World Cup comes to Seattle. e world's biggest sporting event happens once every four years, and this year's tournament, set for June 11–July 19, includes six games just down the street from the WAC Clubhouse at Lumen Field. During all tournament games, WAC members and their guests can watch on big screens around the Club, including in the Noble Room, where every game of the tournament will be aired. e ac- tion will heat up on June 15, 19, 24 and 26 and July 1 and 6, when games take place just a mile from the WAC. Team USA will play Australia at noon on June 19, and the Juneteenth holiday is expected to help make that game one of the biggest sporting events ever played in Seattle. e June 26 game, featuring Egypt and Iran, takes place on Pride Weekend and is also ex- pected to fill downtown with spectators and fans. To match the energy on the pitch, we're planning an incredible atmo- sphere featuring specialized buffets, drinks, and themed menus for Seattle and Team USA games. Drinks and snacks will be on hand in the Noble Room. In addition, spaces around the Clubhouse, including the Crystal Ballroom and 8th Floor Simulator, are available for private viewing parties.
