Fresh greens, immuni- ty-supporting sauces, and power-packed protein selections are just a few of the items you can order off the café's recently re-imagined menu. Customize your own wrap, sandwich, salad, or bowl from a delicious selection of ingredients, including choices from WAC Dietitian Liz Wyosnick. "As an evidence-based dietitian, I am passionate about wholesome food," Liz says. "Nutrition guidance and the expertise of the café team brought this new menu to life." Not only is the menu changing, but so is how you order. You'll start by selecting a wrap, bowl, sandwich, or salad. From there, you can choose from protein options, fresh and roasted toppings, and premium add-ons like heart-healthy avocado and fiber-rich seeds. ese well- ness bonuses offer small but mighty nu- tritional upgrades Liz strongly suggests. "e WAC Café refresh and new offerings are completely in line with the guidelines I coach WAC members on," Liz says. "ey offer whole, minimally processed food and prioritize highly satiating and well-balanced meals that support nutrition needs." Senior Director of Food & Beverage Joe Jeannot thinks members will enjoy the new approach. "e concept is to offer better food that's better for you and served quickly," he says. e café refresh marks the second ma- jor change to the Club's dining offerings since Joe took over this past fall. His rede- sign of the breakfast offering in Torchy's has quickly proven popular. "It's really about finding out what members need and want and giving that to them," he says.
