Friends & Family | Holiday Open House | The Main Event 8 WAC Magazine | wac.net At the WAC, community comes from within. Friends & Family, on now, is the absolute best time to nurture that sentiment. During our annual member- ship event, new members receive the best entry rates of the year—and current members receive WAC Rewards for every new membership they sponsor. What could be better than belonging to the same club as all your favorite peo- ple and getting a great deal while doing it! We caught up with three ardent WAC supporters to learn how they introduce friends, co-workers, and clients to the Club. Jens Pascucci Jens Pascucci's not-so-secret weapon is Jubilee. He and wife Alison always invite a nonmember couple to the black-tie affair that shows off the WAC like no other night. From there, interest is high. Jens says almost everyone they bring to Jubilee goes on to join the Club. But not every occasion calls for cummerbunds. Jens also touts the perks of the WAC's reciprocal network to col- leagues, many of whom travel frequently for business. "It's an invaluable resource in my field, and people see that," he says about our ex- tensive network of partner clubs. "When I travel I always have somewhere to go. We've visited over 30 reciprocal clubs." "I'll show them around but leave a little unsaid so they're still curious," she says. "From there, I'll invite them to an event. People need community, they need friends, they need things to do.
