When it comes to anksgiving, tradition is the name of
the game. Whether that's a secret-recipe apple pie, sharing
gratitude stories from the past year, or snapping the mystical
wishbone, familiarity reigns supreme. So it's not always easy to
embrace changes to this holiday—a fact longtime member and
former WAC Chairman Doug Seto faced some years back.
When his regular anksgiving dinner hosts asked if the
family could celebrate at his house instead, Doug was happy
to oblige. e only problem? What to do about the food!
"I certainly don't know how to cook an entire anks-
giving dinner," Doug says. He knew what everyone wanted
—freshly carved turkey, savory stuffing, tart cranberry
sauce, mashed potatoes, pumpkin pie, and, well … all the
things. But where to get it?
