For Linda, Roger Kelly Court represents a way to remember Roger's contributions to the Club and Seattle as well as to give back to the Washington Athletic Club. "It makes me extremely proud," says Linda, who has been a WAC member since 1965. "Roger had an undoubtable impact on those who knew him." With decades of community service and leadership for the Salvation Army, Virginia Mason Hospital, Seafair, and others, Roger was a fixture of the Seattle community prior to his passing in 2006. He was also a mainstay on the WAC basketball court. Linda's donation to the WAC Foundation in memory of Roger added her to the list of WAC Foundation Founders. Additional contributions from Roger's children Scott Kelly and Kathleen Krekow, as well as friends Kirk Clothier, Jim Farmer, and others, also placed Family & Friends of Roger Kelly as the Foundation's very first Platinum donors. Roger was officially immortalized in his old stomping grounds—the 8th Floor gym—on February 9, 2023.
